Dumpster Diving Diary: Töpen Fund

In Berlin, we always go to the containers of organic supermarkets, but while traveling we can’t be so choosey, and organic supermarkets aren’t exactly around every corner. This container, however, is not only organic, but the supermarket itself is enormous, and it’s sort of situated in the middle of nowhere where mostly older, never-lived-outside-this-village-and-progress-scares-me sort of people live, who seem to find the organic movement to be either hippie nonsense or a government conspiracy. The point here being that this store must be perpetually really overstocked, which h means that they are always chucking out a ton of awesome stuff (no idea how this place stays in business).

Stuff we found at the organic supermarket in Topin!
