French Shopping List

Here, a list of the things that I routinely spend money on when in France. Cheese would definitely be on this list if it weren’t for the fact that we always find (almost) more cheese than we can eat.

  2. Tinned Cassoulet (not the cheap kinds)IMG_6797
  3. Creme de Marrons- Basically Marron Glace as a spread. That is, sugar glazed chestnuts with vanilla. In France you can also buy just straight-up chestnuts in a can, something I haven’t seen anywhere else. IMG_6807
  4. Sweets: Macarons and Brioche (or literally anything with puff pastry). IMG_8235
