Delight in Disorder

A sweet disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness;
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction;
An erring lace, which here and there
Enthrals the crimson stomacher;
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribands to flow confusedly;
A winning wave, deserving note,
In the tempestuous petticoat;
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility:
Do more bewitch me, than when art
Is too precise in every part.

I haven’t seen a sunset this beautiful in a long time (the photo is almost totally unedited). I know I keep spamming beach photos these days but I can’t help myself. Growing up on an island makes it difficult to be away from the water, so when I’m home I try to soak up every moment. It’s funny how missing the ocean feels more like missing a person than a place.
